A dismantled album containing portraits of Zimmerman family members. Includes a full-length portrait of photographer Charles A. Zimmerman with tripod and stereo lens, portraits of Edward O. and Paul Zimmerman who partnered with Charles as Zimmerman Brothers, portraits of Charles' mother, wife, and daughter, and portraits of other family members. The majority are unidentified. Most of the carte-de-visites have back stamps indicating that the portraits were made by Charles A. Zimmerman, Whitney & Zimmerman, or Whitney's Gallery. A few have stamps from French or German photographers.
